My experience learning English at university
My experience learning English at the
university it was very good, in my school my English training was the best that
time and budget could do (I remember it even had a themed activity called
“English day”, in the last year in the secondary school, it was about a circus,
and in my classroom at school, the theme of “Freak Show” was selected)
In general, the English subject is a very good form to complement my
previous knowledge and, they prepare my better for the university reality.
The use of blogs was quite positive because they allow me to give my
personal opinions o show my things, which allow me to feel liberated.
What aspects of your English need to be improved? how do you plan to do this?
I find my English level to be “survival”, it it’s enough to survive if
one day I appear out of nowhere in the United States for example, but it is
insufficient to give a lecture at a university or a job.
To improve it, I would speak more English and mix it more with my
hobbies (90% of the tutorials about my hobbies are in English)
Outside the English class, how much are you using English these days?
Yes, lately I’m using a lot of English, because I have 2 very good
friends, and they do not speak Spanish (Japanese and Russian friend) and thanks
to the English, in a basic way, I have been able to communicate, express
actions and feelings, thanks to the English, I am even teaching Spanish to my
Russian friend!
Checked. Good to know you're doing a great deal of teaching!
